Introduction

Instaduuka (“we”, “our”, or “us”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data. By using the Instaduuka app or website, you agree to the collection and use of information described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and technical data generated during your use of the service.

• User-provided data: account information, display name, contact info (phone, email) when you supply it, listings you create (title, description, images, price).
• Content & media: photos and other files you upload as part of listings. These are stored in our Supabase storage bucket.
• Usage data: interactions with the app, pages visited, device and OS information, IP address, timestamps.
• Third-party data: if you connect social accounts (optional), we may receive basic profile data from those providers.

2. How we use your information

We use collected data to:

• Operate, maintain and provide the Instaduuka service (hosting listings, images, search, messaging).
• Process uploads and store assets in Supabase storage.
• Improve our product, detect fraud, enforce policies and prevent abuse.
• Communicate with you about your listings (e.g., status, moderation, transactions).

3. Sharing & Third parties

We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database & storage), analytics providers, email providers — only to deliver the service.
• Law enforcement: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• Public listing data: information included in your public listing (title, price, images, location) is visible to other users.

When you click external social links (Instagram, TikTok) that is handled by your device/browser and governed by those services' policies.

4. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no online service is 100% secure — please keep sensitive data private and use strong passwords.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data — see “Your choices” below.

6. Your choices & rights

• Access & correction: You can request access or correction of your personal data by contacting us.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Marketing: You can opt out of marketing messages by following the unsubscribe link in emails or contacting us.

7. Children

Instaduuka is intended for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under applicable minimum ages. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us to request removal.

We and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to improve the product. You can control cookie preferences through your browser or device settings.

9. International transfers

Instaduuka may process and store data in servers located in countries outside your own. When we transfer data internationally, we take steps to protect it in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify users through the app or via email. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the current policy version.
